Wrestling Gear Design

 




With experience myself being a professional wrestler (injured right now RIP), I have insight into what wrestlers need in regards to gear design. Mixed with my design skills and passion for Ru Paul's Drag Race 🤣, I think I make an excellent gear designer.

Collaboratively, I can create a gear design that expresses you as a wrestler using your ideas and inspiration. As well, you will receive PDFs and JPEGs that look polished and professional - ready to be sent to gear makers.

To have the best experience for both you and I, here are some guidelines:
  1. Have some ideas or references ready for what you want. This can be pictures of other professional wrestler's gear you like, superheroes, and characters. Provide what your gimmick is and the theme.
  2. Have an idea of colours you would like. Think about other wrestlers in your area, is there a colour that lots of others wear? Maybe choose another colour. But at the end of the day, whatever colours will make you feel confident is key.
  3. Please provide feedback! Do not feel bad if you don't like something. It is important that you get a design that excites you. As well, it makes my job easier to make changes if you have opinions.
What to expect from the design process:
  1. Once you have agreed to the price and provided information, I will ask for a deposit of half the cost.
  2. I will provide drafts for feedback. I will only continue once feedback is given or given the verbal 'ok' to move forward (this saves me from having to re-do things).
  3. You will be provided drafts that have a watermark. Feel free to think on it, get ideas from family and friends.
  4. Once the final design is reached and the full payment is provided, I will provide you with PDFs and JPEGs of the designs without the watermark.
The main priority of this is to ensure YOU get a design YOU LIKE!

As of August 1, 2025 my rate is $100/design; $40 to update a previous design

Here are some examples of my work:


This design for William Taylor was an upgrade from his previous gear of plain black shorts. He already had his own personal logo, as well as the 'Nowhere Fast' logo from clothing brand/podcast that he wanted to represent. William also came with the idea of black, gold, and white. Taking inspiration from his wrestling gimmick, his logo, and his feedback I was able to create this design.


Nick Shostastyk reached out looking to upgrade from starter gear. He had a clear idea of emulating a 90's model, specifically a Versace model. Using his inspiration pictures and having knowledge of his wrestling style I was able to create this design!
At Nick's request I also created a description of the elements of the design for the gear maker. While I am not extremely skilled at sewing, I have some familiarity and knowledge which helped with this:





Christian Starr had this logo and design previously designed by another artist, but wanted an update and change in colour scheme. Working with the inspiration photos and ideas from Christian we were able to put together this colour scheme.

My first major project at the Lifesaving Society was a collaboration with the City of Edmonton. This project was intended to educate patrons at City of Edmonton recreation centres about safety when using steam rooms, saunas, and hot tubs. The experience was incredible, the City of Edmonton was great to work with and were very impressed with my art! The feedback process was helpful and I think it ensured that our final product was the best it could be! This project was special to me because my Mom, who is a graphic artist has worked with the City of Edmonton for many years. Her art has graced the walls of recreation centres across the city. NEW River Rack Card

  Working with my coworkers on the Communications team at the Lifesaving Society we created this new River Safety Rack Card. The intent was to educate the public about the dangers of rivers, while also providing information for them if they choose to be on, in, or near rivers. Together we came up with the concept for the illustration and I executed it. We wanted to show how the dangers of a river are hidden or hard to see. While our my coworker who is the expert on public education messaging provided us with information to include, we worked together to decide what was the most important information to share. Here are the facts about rivers: Nationwide, rivers are the second most common location where drownings occur. Riverbanks can be slippery and covered in debris, making it easy to fall into the water and difficult to climb back out.
